Planning Minister discusses with Kuwaiti finance minister financial cooperation

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb discussed Tuesday with Kuwaiti Finance Minister Khalifa Hamada financial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting touched upon investment opportunities in Yemen's economic promising sectors and in field of infrastructure and reconstruction.

Batheeb praised support of the State of Kuwait to Yemen in different conditions, pointing out to economic and financial challenges due to exceptional conditions in the country over Houthi militia's coup against the state.

He pointed out that the government exerts huge efforts for tackling complicating economic situations, hoping for Kuwaiti support to the budget and Central Bank of Yemen to keep exchange prices law.

For his part, the Kuwaiti minister pointed out to significance of improving developmental relations with Yemen and supporting the country to overcome its financial and economic hardships.
