Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Monday with Reproductive Health Officer at United Nation Population Fund in Yemen Afrah Thabit interventions of the fund in field of health sector and the project of qualifying midwives financed by the European Union.
Minister Buhaibeh confirmed best use of the EU's donation and training midwives with focus on remote and rural areas.
The concerned health officials who attended the meeting discussed a number of topics associated with the project of training midwives and efforts exerted for realizing the project through coordination between Yemeni concerned bodies with the fund.
