MARIB - SABA
Yemen's army has said it killed and injured dozens of Houthi terrorists and arrested others as it repelled a nine-hour Houthi offensive on Marib governorate, in Yemen's east.

A military source told the Armed Forces' Media Center that "fierce battles raged for nine hours in Alkassarah, Almashejah and Serwah fronts for nine hours culminating in the killing, injury and arrest of dozens of Houthi militants." The battle occurred on Saturday night until Sunday morning.

The army was backed by the Arab Coalition's airstrikes. The Houthi militia have been waging a non-stopping offensive on Marib since February 6, 2021. The offensive took an escalatory turn on Saturday.
