Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Humaid, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemeni Airlines, Captain Ahmed Al-Alwani, discussed in a meeting here today ways of upgrading the efficiency of national airlines, the Yemenia, and the difficulties it faces.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the problems that hinder the airliner's activity and caused a rise in ticket prices, reservations and the newly developed automated system in a way that can facilitate and simplify procedures for travelers.
Dr. Abdul Salam made clear that coordination has been made between the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Works to carry out emergency maintenance for the rolling lane for aircraft, and the landing and take-off runways.
