President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

Yemen welcomes announcement of ceasefire in Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed announcement of ceasefire in Gaza, which has become effective on Friday early morning, praising diplomatic efforts of Egypt and all international efforts exerted for realizing the ceasefire.

The ministry called upon the international community to participate in reconstruction and providing humanitarian and medical assistances to Palestinian people.

It reconfirmed Yemen's firm position supporting inclusive and just solution, which includes establishing the Palestinian independent state.
