Yemen participated today in the virtual 44th General Assembly of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) with a delegation headed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Najeeb Al-Awj.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to how to benefit from space technology and pay more attention to it because of its importance in the development of the telecommunications sector in the member states.

The meeting unanimously approved the exemption of Yemen and Palestine from the annual subscription fees for the current year 2021.
