President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. The state-run University of Taiz launched on Monday the 1st International Conference on Technology and Sciences, the first of its kind in Yemen.

The governor of Taiz, the Houthi militant-besieged city, formally opened the three-day event saying it “comes in coping with the world in the field of intellectual production and scientific revolution.”

Nabil Shamsan hailed the conference as a starting point in the University’s scientific research journey.
Fifteen universities from 14 different world countries are participating in the event.
