The Military Court in Marib held its 14 session prosecuting the so-called Abdulmalik al-Houthi and other 174 Houthi leaders included in the criminal case on accusation of carrying out military coup against the republican system and legal and constitutional authorities, spaying for a foreign country (Iran) and committing military and war crimes.
Presided over by Judge Aqil Tajuddin, the head of the court, the session was assigned for presenting the evidence of the case, finalizing review of electronic proves and listening to testimonies of attending witnesses.
The court heard from the Director of Human Rights Office in Marib, who provided report on horrific violations committed by Houthi militia, which fired ballistic rockets and used other weapons causing massacres against civilians.
The court also heard from Lawyer Salah al-Qumairi, the member of prosecution lawyers, who provided literal evidence regarding rockets which targeted civil targets in Marib and their types (including Iranian rockets,) landmines, grenades and explosives.
The prosecutor presented hard evidence, which includes documental evidence proving accusations against all defendants.
The prosecution demanded severest punishments; execution as war criminals.
Meanwhile; the defense of the defendants demanded delay for providing final hearings.
