Health Minister calls Arab counterparts to support Yemen face Covid-19

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buaibeh has called his Arab Counterparts to support Yemen facing corona pandemic's repercussions, other epidemics and boosting health system in the country.

In his speech he delivered Monday while participation in the ordinary 54 Round of Arab Health Ministers held supposedly through videoconferencing, Minister Buhaibeh made it clear that the health system in Yemen needs more support and help to be able to provide its services to the people.

He pointed out to the exceptional humanitarian situation in Yemen over the war triggered by Houthi militia in 2014.

The health minister informed his counterparts on current epidemic challenges in Yemen and measures taken by the ministry for facing the second wave of corona pandemic and the need for logistic support from Arab brothers.
