His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) said that "The Houthi terrorist militias are the ones who started this war and opted to the escalation as their path, but our armed forces, with the will of our people and the support of our brothers, are the ones who will end it in a way that fulfills the Yemenis' aspirations to restore their state, security, freedom, and dignity".

Marib launches planting of 800 trees in schools

Authorities in the province of Marib have launched a scheme for planting 800 trees in the provincial capital’s schools.

Marib’s Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs Abdullah al-Bakiri launched the project which will be implemented by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund of the city.

The inauguration site, in al-Meethaq School, was the same spot where a Houthi ballistic missile hit last September.

The Deputy Governor said this tree planting drive is a message that “while the terrorist Houthi militia plant landmines and prepare the death for millions of Yemenis, we in Marib plant trees, life and hope.”
