The Yemeni Government has welcomed the International Security Council's resolution no (2564) issued yesterday, Thursday, which welcomed the formation of the new Yemeni government, condemned the attack on Aden airport and Houthi aggression on Marib and held Houthi militia accountable for delaying the assessment and maintenance of Safer Oil Tanker.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that the resolution demonstrates the international community's genuine desire to help realizing peace and ending the absurd war has been waged by the terrorist Houthi militia with Iranian support that resulted in a humanitarian suffering and catastrophe in Yemen, destabilized the region's security and stability.
The Ministry stated that the Yemeni government will continue to exert the efforts to re-establish security, stability, end the coup and achieve the peace and national reconciliation in consistent with the outcomes of the National Dialogue, GCC's Imitative, its executive plan and the International Security Council resolution 2216.
