His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

Report: 259 violations by Houthi militiamen against civilians in Taiz in one month

Iran-backed Houthi militiamen intentionally committed 259 violations against the civilians in Taiz governorate last January, according to the Center for Information and Human Rights Training (HRITC).

In a report titled" Al-Haima is Yemen's Holocaust" learned by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the HRICT reported that Houthi militia militants killed 25 civilians among of them 3 children, 2 women, 44 more sustained different injuries among them 12 children, 12 women, 119 civilians were kidnapped in the region of Al-Haimah of Taiz governorate.

The report cited 61violations against properties included 9 houses totally damaged , 22 houses partially damaged, 6 houses were bombed and 16 cars were damaged by the indiscriminately shelling by the militiamen.

The militiamen launched an aggressive military operation against the population of Al-Haimah during January.
