Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna Haitham Shuga'ddin handed over a letter from Foreign Minister Ahmad Binmubarak to UN Under Secretary General, the Executive Director of UN Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna Ghada Willy.
The two parties discussed boosting cooperation between Yemen and the office after the government returned to the transitional capital of Aden and efforts of Yemen for boosting the ministries of justice and interior, the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Committee and Coast Guard Authority.
For her part, the UN official confirmed readiness for activating cooperation with Yemen to help the country's efforts of combating terrorism and crime in the region.
