Prime Minister confirms activating local administration ministry

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has confirmed significance of activating the ministry of local administration to perform its responsibilities and activities.

Presiding over a meeting for the ministry's leadership on Tuesday, prime minister stressed the significant role of the ministry under these difficult conditions caused by Houthi terrorist militia's coup against the state.

The meeting discussed the ministry's program within the plan of the council of ministers for 2021 and mechanisms of realizing the ministry's objectives within the general program of the government.

This year is the year of economic recovery and stopping deterioration and the year of boosting resources and reactivating the rule of law and boosting the principle of transparency and accountability, said prime minister.

He listened to obstacles and difficulties facing the ministry and provision of basic technical services.

He directed studying and evaluating the administrative situations of the ministry and studying difficulties and challenges and possible solutions to them.
