Transport Minister, Taiz Governor discuss operating Makha port

Minister of Transport Abdulsalam Humaid discussed Monday with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan preparations for operating Makha Port and ground transport situation in Taiz.
Humaid pointed out to significant location of Taiz province and the province's commercial and economic importance, especially in different transport sectors, noting that the ministry will include in its future plan inclusive reforms in transport sector in cooperation with Arab Coalition.
He considered Makha port as one of the key assets of Taiz Province and a key resource to the national economy and by operating the port, many work opportunities will be created to youth.
The two parties also discussed situation of transport office and the branch of ground transport authority and fixing problems in it.
Taiz Governor Shamsan confirmed readiness to cooperate with the ministry to improve transportation in the province.
