The Secretary General of the Local Council of Shabwa Governorate, Abd Rabbo Hashleh, inaugurated today the first intensive care unit for expectant mothers at Ataq central hospital, in the capital of Shabwah.
The ICU was set with joint local and international support. Hashleh affirmed the local authority’s keenness to develop and improve health services, pointing to the qualitative addition of the hospital’s nursery department, which has been equipped with beds to care for preterm infants, respirators, and vital signs monitoring.
