The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb discussed today , Friday, with the Head of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Jihad al-Wazir the technical assistance provided by the Fund to build capacity in aspects of external reserves and foreign exchange management.

The Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Bulgaria Ahmed Shamr met on Friday with the Head of Middle East and North Africa in the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry Dmitra Demetrov.

The session aimed to discuss bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.

Shamr briefed the Bulgarian official on the latest developments including the terrorist attack on Aden airport, the US administration designation Houthi militia terrorist organization.

The Bulgarian official expressed his country 's condemnation of the terrorist attack targeted the government at Aden airport, affirming Bulgaria's support for Yemen's unity and the UN-led peace efforts to make sustainable peace in Yemen.
