Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak called on sisterly and friendly countries to designate Houthi militia a terrorist organization as the USA has finally done.
His appeal came during a telephone call he received on Monday from the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Isma'il Weld Sheikh Ahmed.
The telephone conversations covered Yemeni-Mauritanian bilateral cooperation, the latest developments in Yemen and range of regional and international issues of common concern.
Commenting on the US administration designation Houthi militia a foreign terrorist organization Bin Mubarak described it as a constructive move by the international community aims to press for peace.
" Sisterly and friendly countries are urged under their legal, moral and humanitarian duty to designate Houthi militia a terrorist organization to put an end of Houthis' crimes and violations against the Yemeni people", said Bin Mubarak.
