The Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, received a phone call from the speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi and congratulated him on his appointment as Chairman of the Shura Council.
Al-Asoumi affirmed his aspiration for cooperation with the Yemeni Shura and the Arab parliament’s support for Yemeni government under the leadership of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, and for the security, stability, unity and sovereignty of Yemen.
