The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Emergency Committee discusses provision of anti-corona vaccine

The Supreme National Emergency Committee for combating corona pandemic discussed Tuesday in a meeting headed by Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik coordination with donor organizations led by World Health Organization, International Vaccine Alliance and the World Bank provision of anti-corona vaccine in Yemen.
The committee listened to a report by Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh on coordination with WHO on this regard and time plan for arrival of the vaccine expected on March or first of April.
He reviewed developments of the pandemic and readiness for facing eruption of any new wave of the pandemic, confirming registering of none case in Yemen until now.
The committee reviewed priorities to the forthcoming period including its restructure and listened to a number of suggestions for activating its work.
