CAIRO - SABA
The Speaker of Arab Parliament Adel al-Assomi welcomed the American administration's decision about designating the insurgent Houthi militia a terrorist organization, enlisting its leaders in the terrorism list.
He said" This decision is due to restrict the terrorist actions carried out by this terrorist militia including humanitarian violations and war-crimes against innocent civilians of the Yemeni people and legitimate government, targeting neighboring countries with ballistic missiles, drones and threatening international marine navigation in the Red Sea, besides the militia's constant endeavors to block political efforts aiming to get the Yemeni crisis resolved".
