The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemani Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Activities and the Executive Unit for Managing Displaced People Camps here launched Tuesday the fifth camp for displaced persons at Jefeina Camp in the city.
During the launching ceremony, 20 shelters were distributed to families who displaced recently to the province.
The shelters include sanitation, water tank and other food and shelter materials to every tent of the camp to alleviate suffering of the displaced families.
