The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Aden airport resumes its functions

Minister of Interior Maj. General Ebrahim Haidan along with Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas re-launched Aden airport operations Sunday four days later of the terrorist attack struck the facility upon the new government arrival.

Haidan and Lamlas welcomed the first air flight operated by the Yemenia Airways Company coming from the Republic of Sudan.

" The airport was quickly re-operated to serve as a message that the government is determined to get rid of all difficulties and obstructions created by the terrorist operation", said Haidan.
