PM offers condolences to the ICRC on the death of some of its staffs in Aden airport terrorist attack

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik extended condolences to the President of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer on the death of the ICRC's staffs who were killed in Aden airport terrorist attack.

Via video conference communication with Mr. Peter on Saturday Dr. Ma'een expressed on his own and on behalf of the Yemeni government and peoples' heartfelt condolences to the ICRC and the victims' families.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the humanitarian interventions of the ICRC in Yemen that have largely helped to alleviate the Yemeni peoples' suffering amid current humanitarian crisis created by Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup and war.

For his part the President of the ICRC expressed his condolences to the Yemeni government and peoples of the victims of Aden airport terror attack.

Mr. Maurer stated that the ICRC will continue to do its job and contribute to the humanitarian actions in Yemen.
