Parliament presidency says Houthi lifting of immunity of MPs 'void'

The presidency of the Yemeni parliament has said that the Houthi militia's declared "lifting of the immunity" of some MPs, describing it as invalid and void.
In a statement, the presidency said those who lifted the immunity have no legal capacity since they have become members of the terrorist militia.
It noted that all the militia's action which also include the issuance of death sentences and property confiscation orders are legally void and the militants will be responsible for them.
