The President of the Republic Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi received Tuesday the United States of America's envoy Eliot Bramez along with the US Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Christopher Henzel.
The session dealt with topics of common interests including Yemen's situations and prospects of peace.
The President welcomed everybody, praising strategic and distinguished relations between Yemen and the USA to counter challenges in the files of terrorism and the Iranian intervention in Yemen and the region, attempts to replicate the Iranian's experiment in Yemen, preventing Iran from controlling the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb.
President Hadi restated his keenness to support peace efforts to make peace that stop bloodshed of innocent peoples and end the Yemeni peoples' suffering caused by the Houthi rebels.
For their own part, the US envoy and Ambassador voiced their pleasure with the meeting which comes within the course of reciprocal cooperation and consultations about strategic issues of common interests and together countering the Iranian interventions through smuggling weapons to Houthis and making Yemen a launch-pad to carry out their attacks in the region and threatening neighboring countries.
Bramez and Henzel appreciated President's Hadi's good efforts to push peace and unifying the national efforts to counter the Iranian challenges through speeding up the implementation of Riyadh Agreement.
