The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Shabwa governorate Mohammed bin Adyeo signed Sunday a contract to establish the first seaport on the Arabian Sea shore, in the district of Radhom.
Under the contract the QYZ company will build the commercial harbor. The first phase of the seaport project aims to provide mooching oil tankers within 60 days.
Meanwhile second phase includes constructing docks for unloading oil derivatives and establishing eight strategic storages with total capacities up to 60 thousand tons and building the harbor dockyards.
