RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Sunday with Egyptian Non-Residence Ambassador to Yemen Ahmad Tawfeeq boosting relations between the two countries.
Al-Hadhrami praised Egyptian Government's support to the internationally recognized government of Yemen, pointing to latest efforts regarding maintenance work of Safir Oil Tanker and draining up the tanker from crude oil.
He warned of continuous stubbornness of Houthi militia of banning access to the UN technical team for doing maintenance to the tanker, which contains more than million crude oil.
He confirmed significance of continuous pressure on Houthi militia for solving this issue, which poses disastrous threat on Yemen environment, the region and the international maritime navigation.
For his part, the Egyptian diplomat reaffirmed his country fixed position supporting Yemeni government and support to UN efforts for realizing inclusive and permanent peace in Yemen.
