US agency organizes border security course for Yemeni officers

The Export Control and Related Border Security Program of the U.S. State Department organized a training course for Yemeni law enforcement on border security management and combating trafficking.

The virtual course, organized with support from the US embassy to Yemen, will train law enforcement officers and experts from Yemen’s Interior, Health and Agriculture ministries as well as the Customs Department over a period of 10 days.

The trainees will learn about combating all forms of smuggling and protecting national land, sea and air borders.
