The Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency received Tuesday a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami on government's appreciation to the support provided by the agency to Yemen for facing coronavirus pandemic and for more cooperation.
Yemen's Permanent Representative to the IAEA Haitham Shuga'uddin, who handed over the letter, discussed with the director of the agency cooperation between Yemen and the agency.
He expressed Yemen's appreciation to the agency for permanent cooperation and support projects to Yemen in agricultural field and combating cancer, showing Yemen's desire for more support in medical field.
For his part, the director of the agency confirmed continuous support to Yemen for facing coronavirus pandemic, implementing technical cooperation projects, boosting cooperation in curing cancer cases by radiation and providing necessary support to Yemen under these exceptional conditions.
