The National Program for Drug Supply at the Ministry of Public Health received five PCR devices and medical supplies and solutions as an anti-coronavirus aid from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The aid will be distributed between the governorates of Marib, Al-Mahra, Shabwa, Socotra, and Al-Wadiah Port, with the aim of supporting and improving the capabilities of the Ministry of Health and Population to cope with the outbreak of the novel contagion.
Minister of Health Dr. Nasser Baoum appreciated the continuous Saudi support to the health sector in various Yemeni governorates, indicating that these devices will contribute to combating the spread of the pandemic.
