Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami restated that the legitimate Yemeni government has always been a keen peace seeker, doing utmost efforts to bring about and it has been constructively responding to the proposals suggested by the UN envoy to Yemen to reach a sustainable peace based on the three terms of reference agreed to.
Al-Hadrami's remarks came as he virtually discussed Thursday the ongoing peace efforts with the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) Mission in Yemen Hans Gruenberg.
The conversations touched upon Riyadh Agreement and underway preparation to put it in place.
The Foreign Minister underscored the importance of implementing the agreement, noting that the formation of the agreement will push peace, help re-establishing security and stability in Yemen.
The EU Ambassador renewed the EU's support for relief and humanitarian actions in Yemen and the underway efforts made by the UN envoy Mr. Martin Griffiths to achieve peace.
