Basmat Hayat Corporation for humanitarian activities launched Wednesday the International Volunteer Day's Project to 50 male and female youth from across Aden Province.
The project, which is carried out by Charitable Moment Corporation for social development and financed by CARE International organization, has six phases include significance of social participation, making international film editing on volunteers' work, showing stories of the civil society organizations, making different awareness activities and holding a celebration to the International Volunteer Day on December 5 this year.
In launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Local Administration Awadh Mashbah talked about significance of voluntary work for providing different services to society, confirming support of the ministry to such youth projects and activities boosting their capabilities in different developmental fields.
For their part, the Head of Basmat Hayat Khaled Hassan and the Executive Director of Charitable Moment Corporation Shifa'a Saeed talked about significance of the project, which will work on training the volunteers in different fields until the end of this year.
The project also works on including youth in voluntary work and making awareness campaigns on youth awareness in fields of education, health, relief and developmental awareness.
