Deputy Prime Minister in the caretaker government, the Chairman of the Supreme National Emergency Committee, Dr. Salem Al-Khanbashi, has followed up on the progress of precautionary measures against coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and the preparations for the new school year 2020-2021 in Sayoon city of Hadhramout.
Al-Khanbashi and local government officials visited a number of schools in the District, and was briefed by the Director General of the Ministry of Education Office in Hadhramout Valley and Desert, Dr. Muhammad Falhoum, on the student registration procedures for the new year and infection preventive measures.
He made clear that the Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, will work to provide a number of precautionary means to maintain the safety of teaching staff and students, praising the efforts of the local authority in harnessing the available capabilities for the development and service aspects.
