A report by the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms documented 4896 violations and crimes committed by the Houthi militia against religious activists and places of worship in Yemen from January 1, 2015, to June 30, 2025. The Yemeni army said on Wednesday it won't allow the formation of unauthorized military groups in Hadhramout.
The commander of the First Military Region, one of the army's divisions, Maj. Ge. Saleh Taymas said during a meeting with senior military officials that the Region would not allow any military groups to be formed outside the control of the Defense and Interior ministries within the Region's areas of control.
The Region is headquartered in Sayoon in the eastern province of Hadhramout.
