Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief Aid, Dr. Ebtihaj Al-Kamal, called on civil society organizations to intensify humanitarian interventions and provide the flood affected people in those areas with shelter and relief aid.

Al-Kamal stressed the necessity of urgent and prompt intervention to provide the affected people in Hodeidah governorate and the regions of the West Coast with all the necessary needs, after torrents swept their properties they including livestock and farms.

The Minister called for regional and international organizations to intervene with shelter and food assistance and all necessary provisions.
