Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najib al-Aweg held discussions Monday with the representative of the WHO in Yemen Eltaf Mossani.
The discussions which conducted via videoconference aimed at developing response plans and mobilizing resources to meet the health system's needs to cope with coronavirus pandemic.
The development and expansion of the response plan were elaborately discussed.
They also discussed a proposal for establishing an Emergency Room for the republic of Yemen to administer the distribution of supplies from the WHO.
The WHO representative stated that a plane dispatched by the WHO arrived in Aden laden with 14 thousand samples of test and 1100 of tests solutions.
