Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, hailed the heroic performance of the armed forces and the popular resistance from all political and social stripes for their role in countering the Houthi militants' escalation on the frontlines in Marib, Aljawf and Beidha.

In a phone conversation with the Minister of Defense, Governor of the Ma'rib Governorate and the Chief of the General Staff.

Discussions centered on the continuous escalation by the Iran-backed radical militia Houthi militia who habitually announce (accepting UN ceasefire calls) and as part of their religious ideology act to the contrary of their pledges.

The Vice President indicated that the army had now to defend its sites against the Houthi attacks escalated these recent days.
