WB delegation visits Aden

A delegation from the World Bank (WB) headed by the Regional Director for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Wes is visiting the interim capital Aden currently.

The delegation held a meeting Tuesday included Under-Secretary of Planning and International Cooperation Ministry Omer Abdulaziz Abdulghani, Assitant Under-Secretary Mansour Zaid and Rector of Aden University Dr. Nasser Lassor.

The session aimed to discuss topics relating to the WB's programs and interventions in Yemen.

The WB's delegation visit intended to get first hand facts about the development requirements and establish joint action mechanism to carry out the WB's projects in Yemen.
