JEDDAH-SABA
Yemen's Foreign Minister said the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has a great responsibility to support "our brotherly Palestinians to attain their legitimate inalienable rights provided for by the international law.

Addressing a meeting held in the Saudi city of Jeddah by the foreign ministers of OIC member countries against the backdrop of the "Deal of the Century", Mohammed al-Hadhrami said the Palestinian cause takes center stage in the concern of the Islamic Ummah and we in Yemen will remain supportive to the rights of the Palestinian people.

He said that just peace will only materialize if it rests on the relevant UN resolutions and according to the Saudi brokered Peace Initiative of 2002.

The Initiative states that peace is a strategic Arab choice that requires a key commitment on the part of Israel: to withdraw from all Arab land that Israel has been occupying since 1967.
