The Ministry of Water and Environment signed an agreement with the Anti-Hunger Organization in the temporary capital Aden today to implement an integrated water, sanitation and hygiene project and an emergency relief projects for IDPs in the governorates of Lahj and Abyan.
The project, worth $2,464,658 with support from the Canadian government is set to conclude at the end of March 2021.
It aims to improve the access of food security, water, sanitation and hygiene services to 17,500 beneficiaries in the Al-Houta, the provincial capital of Lahj, and Khanfar district in Abyan
