Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al-Wali discussed with Deputy Director of the World Food Program in Yemen, Reza Ali and the Director of the WFP office in Aden Asif Bhutto a mechanism for enhancing joint cooperation between the Industry Ministry and the WFP.

The meeting which involved other ministry officials discussed the results of a field visit conducted by a governmental team to the World Food Program warehouses.

Al-Wali stressed the importance of coordination between the concerned authorities, valuing the efforts of the WFP in the difficult and exceptional circumstances the country is going through, stressing the readiness of the Ministry and the relevant authorities to cooperate with it and provide it with the necessary facilitations to implement its projects.
