Laswar, EU delegation discuss cooperation between Aden University and European universities

The President of Aden University, Dr. Al-Khadir Laswar discussed with, with the head of the European Union Mission to Yemen and the French and Swedish ambassadors to Yemen opening channels of communication and academic cooperation between the University of Aden and prestigious European universities.

In a meeting in the interim capital Aden today, they also discussed the possibility of resuming European support for the university's departments especially the French support to the French Language Department at the University, and the Dutch support for the Women's Center for Research and Training at the university.

They also discussed the prospects of supporting proposals for developing and rehabilitating the university infrastructure damaged during the Houthi invasion of Aden in 2015.
