Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bagash met on Monday with the Chinese Ambassador to Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.

Yemeni-Chinese bilateral ties and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.

They also touched upon the latest developments about peace process in Yemen.

Bagash praised China's supportive stance in support of the legitimate Yemeni government and the efforts to make peace based on the three terms of reference.

The Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's support for Yemen, the legitimate Yemeni leadership and the political process to reach peaceful solution based on the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCR 2216.
