The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser BaAum said Yemen was committed to achieve overall health coverage by 2030 through increasing health care services but Houthi militia's coup and war have disrupted all developmental plans and programs in the country including health sector.
His statement came during his contribution to the 7th Session of Islamic Conference of Health Ministers convened in Abu Dhabi on 15-17 December 2019.
