JEDDAH -SABA
The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) contributed to the first extraordinary session of the General Assembly of the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The gathering held in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

Saba's delegation headed by Chairman of the Board of Directors, Editor-in-Chief Abdullah Ahmed Hezam.

In his opening speech Saudi Minister of Information, Head of the Executive Board of UNA TurkiAshabanah cited challenges facing the news agencies presently in terms of professionalism, news making and media content due to massively follow of news, fast-developing media technologies.
