Deputy Governor of MaribAbd-RabbuMiftah discussed Thursday with the team of the UNICEFheaded by Director of Sana'a Region's Office WalidNoman humanitarian partnership between the local authority and the organization in health, education, water, sanitation and social protection.
Miftah stressed significance of opening an office to the organization in Marib for improving this humanitarian partnership and to help the organization follow up humanitarian needs and define its needed interventions.
He praised the organization's efforts for providing humanitarian programs and projects in fields of health, education water and protection for thousands of displaced people in the province, which still receives thousands of displaced people, from Houthi-held areas, a matter requires expansion of the organization's activities.
For his part, Noman made it clear that the team's visit aims at following up the organization's projects and activities in the province in different fields.
