Power minister directs making study for constructing gas power in Shabwa

Minister of Electricity and Energy Mohammad al-Annani has directed making a study for constructing power plant generated by gas at Oqla, Shabwa Province.
Presiding over a meeting for staff of Electricity General Corporation in Shabwa on Tuesday, al-Annani also directed making a study for constructing transfer lines network from the plant to other districts of the province and making a study on pre-paid system counters for solving the problems of paying power invoices.
Minister al-Annani stressed necessity of boosting cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the corporation and the local authority for finding suitable solutions for power shortage problem suffered by the province currently.
Minister of Electricity discussed with Deputy Governor of Shabwa Abdulqa wiLamrouq a number of issues and topics concerning power services and measures needed for boosting cooperation and coordination between the leaderships of the ministry and the province.
