Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs in the Near East Bureau at the U.S. Department of State Tim Lenderking have discussed cooperation between Yemen and the US in all fields, especially in the field of human rights.
In a meeting held on the sidelines of Warsaw Conference for Peace and Security in Washington, Askar briefed the US official on the Houthi militia's violations against Yemenis since the militia's military coup in September 2014 and the human rights violations they have committed in the struggle to reinforce their rule.
