FM briefs International Crisis Group chief on Yemen's different challenges

Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadhrami has briefed the President of the International Crisis Group Robert Malley on the different challenges Yemen is grappling with.
In a meeting in New York today, Al-Hadhrami gave Malley pointed to the stubborn Houthi avoidance of peace, the recent UAE-backed rebellion in south Yemen and the UAE's launching of air raids against Yemen's armed forces in Aden and Abyan.
Malley indicated that such meetings help the Group understand what is going on in Yemen and thereby be able to present recommendations to decision-makers involved in resolving the conflict.
